DMC & Services
Q. What is a DMC (Destination Management Company)?
A. A DMC is a professional services company with local knowledge, expertise, and resources,
specializing in the design and implementation of events, activities, tours, transportation, and
program logistics. We are your strategic partner in achieving your business goals in Japan.
Q. Do you cover all of Japan?
A. Yes, absolutely. With offices in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, we have a
powerful nationwide network covering Hokkaido, Okinawa, and everywhere in between. We
handle multi-city incentive trips and tours seamlessly.
Q. What makes you different from other DMCs?
A. Our biggest advantage is that we operate our own unique cultural content, such as Sumo
Studio.
As both a DMC and supplier, we take full responsibility for arrangements and know exactly which
experiences deliver the highest satisfaction.
We are also known for our speed and responsiveness.
Q. What types of clients do you typically work with?
A. We work with a wide range of clients including travel agencies, corporate event planners,
MICE organizers, incentive travel specialists, and tour operators from Europe, North America,
Australia, and Asia. We have extensive experience with groups of all sizes and nationalities.
Cultural Experiences
Q. What experiences do you offer?
A. We offer a wide range of authentic Japanese cultural experiences including: Sumo Studio Osaka
(our signature experience), Tea Ceremony, Calligraphy, Martial Arts (Kendo, Aikido, Judo),
Kimono
dressing, Sake tasting, Cooking classes, Geisha entertainment, Zen meditation, and more.
All experiences can be customized for corporate training or team building purposes.
Q. Can experiences be customized for our group?
A. Absolutely! Every experience can be tailored to match your group's objectives, themes,
and requirements. We can add private venues, exclusive access, special dining arrangements,
and branded elements. Just let us know your goals and we'll create the perfect program.
Q. Are experiences available in English or other languages?
A. Yes. All our experiences include English or multi-language interpretation. We can arrange
guides and instructors who speak English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese, and other languages
depending on your group's needs.
Planning & Booking
Q. How far in advance should we contact you?
A. Ideally, 3 to 6 months in advance. For peak seasons (Sakura in spring, Autumn leaves) or
large-scale MICE events, earlier is better to secure top venues and accommodation. However, we
are happy to assist with last-minute inquiries whenever possible.
Q. Is there a minimum group size?
A. It depends on the program, but we generally recommend our services for groups of 10 or more.
However, we also specialize in VIP arrangements for smaller parties or individuals. Feel free to
contact us regardless of your group size.
Q. Can we sign a partnership agreement?
A. Yes, we welcome partnerships with travel agencies. We offer partnership agreements that
include NET rates and priority booking privileges. Please see our
For Agents page for
more details.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. Cancellation policies vary depending on the program, venue, and timing. Generally, we require
confirmation 30-60 days in advance for most experiences. We will provide detailed terms and
conditions with each quotation. For hotels and special venues, the facility's policies apply.
Logistics & Payment
Q. Do you handle transportation and accommodation?
A. Yes, we provide complete ground arrangements including hotel reservations, private coach/bus
charter, private vehicles with drivers, Shinkansen (bullet train) tickets, domestic flights,
ferry services, and all other transportation needs throughout Japan.
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We accept bank transfers (international wire transfers in USD, EUR, JPY) and can provide
invoicing with payment terms for established partner agencies. Deposit requirements vary by
program size and timing.
